Mercedes-Benz India is implementing price increases across its entire lineup, and here’s why you should pay attention. Starting June 1, select variants of the C-Class, E-Class, GLC, GLE, GLS, EQS, and Maybach S-Class will see their prices rise in a phased manner. The second hike will follow on September 1, 2025, affecting all models.
This staggered approach isn’t just about raising prices—it’s designed to give potential buyers the chance to plan their purchases wisely. Instead of facing a sudden and steep increase down the line, customers can benefit from a “minimal” initial hike now.
Be aware that this price adjustment—up to 1.5 percent on all models after September—is primarily due to higher import costs resulting from declining foreign exchange rates. So if you’ve been eyeing a Mercedes-Benz model, now’s the time to act before prices go up further.
New Year, New Prices: Mercedes-Benz Gears Up for 2025 Price Surge

Mercedes-Benz has made it clear that the recent price increases are a direct result of nearly a 10 percent drop in the value of the Indian rupee against the Euro over the last four months. This depreciation has significantly raised the costs for importing both completely built unit (CBU) models and parts needed for completely knocked down (CKD) model assembly. While Mercedes-Benz has worked hard to mitigate these rising expenses by boosting local production in India, it’s become necessary to pass some of these costs onto customers.
Starting June 1, 2025, price hikes will range from Rs 90,000 for the C-Class all the way up to Rs 12.2 lakh for the luxurious Maybach S-Class. Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of every Mercedes-Benz model set to see an increase in price:
