Hyundai is going all out for the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, and as a part of its exhibits, it will also be showcasing the Ioniq 9 and Staria MPV in addition to the Creta. Additionally, Hyundai will have five zones at its pavilion, one of which will showcase its OEM parts made in India.

Hyundai Creta Electric

Hyundai’s first locally produced electric car, it will come with two powertrain options and be available in Smart, Executive, Excellence, and Premium models. The top-spec model, like its ICE sibling is packed with features like level-2 ADAS, dual digital screens, ventilated seats, climate control with rear AC vents and connected car technology. Given that it will compete with the Maruti e Vitara, Kia Carens EV, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, MG ZS EV, and upcoming models from Honda and Skoda, this is a significant vehicle for Hyundai.

Hyundai Ioniq 9

This is the sister car to the Kia EV9 and Hyundai’s new flagship three-row electric vehicle. It was unveiled in November 2024 and is anticipated to visit in India in 2025. A dual-tone cabin, dual digital screens, multi-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, eight-speaker sound system, and level-2 ADAS are a few of the main features. The 110.2 kWh battery pack AWD-enabled model with an unspecified claimed range is anticipated to be the display car.

Hyundai Staria

Hyundai is bringing its version of the Kia Carnival to the 2025 Auto Expo after realizing its potential. The Staria, which debuted in 2022, has a high roof and rounded edges, making it an unusual design. The large chrome grille and low-set headlamps are two of the main design features. It has three-row captain seat arrangement with features like a huge panoramic glass roof, dual digital screens, multi-zone climate control, and a powered reclining second row. Both a 2.2-liter diesel and a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine are available for the Staria worldwide. The latter, which generates 175 horsepower/431 Nm and is mated to an eight-speed AT, has greater potential in India.

Other Vehicles

Along with vehicles like the Nexo FCV, Hyundai will showcase its entire India lineup at the Expo booth. Hyundai has consistently brought one of its WRC cars to the Expo in past years, and it is anticipated that it will do the same this time.
