Why Kia Sells Both the Carens and Carens Clavis

Why Kia Sells Both the Carens and Carens Clavis?

Kia has chosen to sell both Carens and the newer Carens Clavis in order to address a wide range.

The Carens is focused on a more budget-friendly car buyer and is largely targeted at fleet owners and cost-cutting customers, particularly with the introduction of the fuel-saving CNG model.

The Carens Clavis is aimed at those wanting a premium family MPV experience, with a broader range of trims, engine options, and transmission selections. This approach allows  Kia to span both ends of the market without launching a completely different vehicle.

Auto Gully Remarks:

The introduction of the CNG variant to the Kia Carens lineup is a smart move that attracts more price-conscious family buyers and fleet operators. With its spacious 7-seat layout and economical CNG powertrain, the Carens now has even more battle against established players such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG.

The Ertiga was a crowd favorite for years; the Carens provides a new design and newer features that will win over shoppers seeking value and design. The inclusion of CNG as an option is sure to win more sales for Kia, as it will appeal to people who want an affordable but roomy MPV.
