Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e: Price Reveal Coming This March

We have nearly all the details about the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e, with just a few prices fir mid and higher spec variants still under wraps. At the recent Auto Expo 2025, Rajesh Jejurikar, executive director and CEO of Mahindra’s Auto and Farm Sector, shared some exciting news about when to expect those price announcements. He mentioned “We will announce the schedule “of the rollout” for “Pack two” by the end of the March.

Previously Mahindra rolled out prices for their entry-level BE 6 and XEV 9e Pack One Variants at the end of November. Just recently, they revealed pricing for the top-tier Pack Three models of both vehicles. Each model comes in four different variants.

It’s important to note that only the Premium Pack three offers battery options of 59kWh and 79 kWh. Meanwhile, introductory pricing for both Pack One Models will remain intact.

The BE6 and XEV are making waves in the electric SUV market, each offering four impressive variants. Their recent achievement of a 5-Star Bharat NCAP safety rating highlights their commitment to safety and quality. The base Pack One, mid-spec Pack Two, and top-spec Pack Three versions all feature a robust 59kWh battery pack, providing an outstanding MIDC range of 556km for the BE 6 and 542km for the XEV 9e. For those seeking even more power, only the premium Pack Three trim offers an optional larger 79kWh battery pack that delivers an incredible range—682km on a single charge for the BE 6 and 656km for its competitor, XEV 9e.

While we await details about the features in the mid-spec Pack Two trims, it’s important to note that existing features in known BE 6 variants are already impressive; plus, the XEV 9e boasts an even longer list.

Moreover, what’s particularly exciting is Jejurikar’s confirmation that introductory prices for Pack One variants will be maintained for some time. “We have said that we will hold onto the price we announced for Pack One whenever we introduce that,” he stated. This transparency reassures potential buyers about their investment as they consider these innovative electric SUVs.

Mahindra’s Game-Changing EVs: Range, Safety & Competitive Pricing

The BE 6 starts at Rs 18.90 lakh, positioning it on the higher side compared to its competitor like the Tata Curvv EV at Rs 17.49 lakh and the Hyundai Creta Electric at Rs 17.99 lakh. Although the MG ZS EV is priced slightly more at Rs 18.98 lakh, its top variant costs less than the premium BE 6, which stands at Rs 26.90 lakh compared to MG’s top-spec model priced at Rs 26.64 lakh. As for the Mahindra XEV 9e, with a price range of Rs 20.90 lakh to 30.50 lakh, its competitiveness will depend on well it stacks up against heavyweights like Tata Harrier EV in the evolving marketing landscape.
