GLS 450d AMG Line  ₹1.43 crore

Compared to their standard counterparts, the AMG Line petrol costs ₹3 lakh more, while the diesel variant demands a ₹1 lakh premium.

Exterior & Interior Enhancements

On the outside, the GLS AMG Line receives sportier front and rear bumpers, larger air intakes, and body-coloured wheel arches and side sills (unlike the black cladding on the standard GLS). The rear gets a diffuser-style black insert and a thin chrome accent for added aggression.

Inside, there’s a new AMG twin-spoke steering wheel, stainless steel pedal covers, and AMG-branded floor mats. The cabin feels more premium, aligning with its sporty intent.

Night Package Now Available

Buyers can now spec the GLS with the optional AMG Night Package, which includes:

  • Blacked-out mirror caps, roof rails, and window trims
  • Dark chrome grille slats
  • 21-inch black alloy wheels
  • Black leather dashboard upholstery

Powertrain Options (Unchanged)

The GLS AMG Line continues with the 3.0-litre inline-six petrol and diesel engines, mated to a 9-speed torque converter automatic and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

  • Petrol (GLS 450): 381hp & 500Nm
  • Diesel (GLS 450d): 367hp & 750Nm

Mercedes-Benz India Q1 FY2026 Sales

Alongside the GLS AMG Line debut, Mercedes-Benz announced Q1 FY2026 sales figures:

  • 4,238 units sold between April and June 2025
  • 10% YoY growth overall
  • Top-end vehicle segment up 20%
  • EV sales up 157% YoY, led by the EQS SUV

The new AMG Line trim adds desirable flair to an already luxurious full-size SUV. While it doesn’t tweak performance, it’s bound to appeal to buyers who want their GLS to stand out with sportier aesthetics and added opulence.
