Introducing the thrilling performance version of the Skoda Octavia RS. Launched globally last year, Skoda India recently showcased this powerhouse at the Bharat Mobility Expo in Delhi, celebrating the exciting return of the RS variant to our market.

Enhanced Engineering Behind the Skoda Octavia RS 2025

While there are some subtle enhancements both inside and out, it’s what lies beneath that truly sets this car apart. The 2025 model boasts a strong 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine that delivers an impressive 261bhp, and 370Nm of torque. With its seamless seven-speed DSG automatic transmission, this performance sedan can rocket from 0-100km/h in just 6.6 seconds and reach a maximum speed of an exhilarating 250 km/h.

Additionally, with the RS suffix, this version of the Octavia sits 15mm lower than the standard model, enhancing its sporty appeal. It comes equipped with an electronic limited-slip differential on the front axle and features a sporty exhaust system with sleek black tailpipes as standard. The original RS variant was phased out in April 2023 due to new BS6 Phase 2 emission regulations. However, we are on the brink of an exciting launch in 2025, as his fourth-generation Octavia RS is set to arrive in India soon as a Completely Build Unit (CBU), available in limited quantities just like predecessors.
