Peter Janeba, the brand dictator for Skoda India, has confirmed that the vision 7S concept will be available in production form in India by 2027. This groundbreaking concept will lead to the creation of a three-row SUV that is set to enter production abroad in 2026. Excitingly, a camoulflaged test mule has already been spotted testing in Sweden.
What makes this concept particularly impressive is its introduction of Skoda India’s Modern Solid design language. The central touchscreen is designed for versatility, allowing it to seamlessly rotate between portrait and landscape orientations. Since its initial showcase in 2022, the Vision 7S has established itself as a major step forward for the brand’s design philosophy.
Skoda Vision 7S: Sleek and Modern Solid Exterior Design

The prototype showcases sleek flush door handles and carries forward the striking long, sloping roofline of the original concept. While some design elements have been slightly subdued, such as the prominent door sills, the overall appearance is undeniably more – strong and slab – sided than its predecessor. Notably, with a length of around 4.9 meters roughly 250mm longer than the Enyaq, this vehicle stands as Skoda’s largest electric SUV to date, making it a compelling choice for those seeking both style and space in their electric driving experience.
Skoda Vision 7S: Interior and Features

Although we haven’t seen the prototype’s interior yet, the concept presents an innovative oval-shaped steering wheel. Its dashboard is impressively sleek, featuring a large rotatable touchscreen that echoes advancements in other brands like BYD. While the concept was designed as a 4-seater, you can except the production model to offer both 5 and 7-seater configurations. Moreover, sustainable materials such as leather-free upholstery are included in the concept and could very well be part of final production model.
Skoda Vision 7S: Battery Size and Range

The Skoda Vision 7S concept is equipped with an impressive 89kWh battery pack that boasts a claimed WLTP range exceeding 600km. Skoda has stated that the production version supports rapid changing capabilities of up to 200kW. Although specific powertrain details are still under wraps, it’s anticipated that this SUV will provide both rear-and all-wheel drive options with performance outputs comparable to those found in the Skoda Enyaq facelift.
