The Tata Nexon EV is now streamlined to offer just two battery pack options, having phased out the mid-spec 40.5kWh version. Since its facelift launch in September 2023, this all-electric compact SUV initially came with a choice of 30kWh (MR) and 40.5kWh (LR) batteries, before introducing the robust 45kWh battery option a year later.

Now boasting a total of 10 variants, the Nexon EV LR with a 40.5kWh battery was priced between Rs 14.59 lakh and Rs 16.29 lakh, making it an attractive investment for those seeking quality electric mobility.

What’s important to note is that while the new 40.5kWh versions fit right into the mid-range pricing between Rs 14.59 lakh to Rs 16.29 lakh, the overall price spectrum remains attractive at Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 17.19 lakh. In our real-world tests with the Nexon EV LR at 40.5kWh capacity, we recorded an actual range of about 273km on a full charge—a bit less than the MIDC’s claimed figure of 390km but much closer to Tata’s C75 estimate of around 290-310km.
