It&#8217;s worth noting that some color options come with an additional premium of Rs 9,000 and are available as optional upgrades starting from the Signature trim. With these features combined, there&#8217;s no doubt that choosing a Kylaq is a smart decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Skoda Kylaq Sales Surge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kylaq Classic is proving to be an incredibly popular choice, and it&#8217;s easy to see why. After its November launch, the model received a staggering 10,000 orders within just 10 days! Although Skoda had to pause bookings for the entry-level Kylaq Classic in December due to overwhelming demand, it resumed them by the end of January, with a waiting period now extending up to four months. In their initial phase, Skoda aims to deliver 33,000 units of the Kylaq by May, focusing primarily on higher-spec variants. Plus, for those who act fast, the first 33,333 customers will receive a complimentary three-year Standard Maintenance Package (SMP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To meet this soaring demand and ensure quicker delivery times, Skoda has increased production capacity at its Chakan plant in Maharashtra by an impressive 30 percent. They&#8217;ve also bolstered their supplier base by an additional 10 percent for quicker procurement of essential components. With plans in place to manufacture between 50,000 and 70,000 units of the Kylaq each year\u2014equating to monthly production rates ranging from about 4,000 to 5,800 units\u2014it&#8217;s clear that this vehicle is set for success in the market. Skoda has achieved a remarkable milestone in India, registering its highest-ever monthly sales since entering the market 25 years ago, with an impressive 7,422 units sold in March 2025. With a strong lineup that currently includes the Kylaq, Kushaq, and Slavia, Skoda is setting its sights on reaching an ambitious target of 100,000 annual sales by 2026. The introduction of next-generation models like the Kodiaq, Superb, and Octavia will further enhance their offerings, although specific launch dates are still under wraps. Moreover, Skoda is excited to announce plans to launch its first electric vehicle in India by September.
