The Model S Plaid isn’t just about impressive performance; its sporty look truly sets it apart. The changes to the Model S are specifically tailored to enhance the 1,034 hp Plaid trim, featuring aggressive bumper designs with larger front air intakes that improve high-speed stability—something any driving enthusiast will appreciate. It rolls on newly designed 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels, with an option for even larger 21-inch wheels for those who want to make a bold statement.

Meanwhile, the Model X also gets a stylish upgrade with new 20-inch alloy wheels available, expandable up to 22 inches. However, it maintains its classic look without additional design tweaks beyond these wheel options.

In addition to these aesthetic enhancements, both models now come with exciting new paint choices. You can opt for the striking Frost Blue Metallic for an extra $2,500 (or Rs 2.15 lakh), and Tesla has introduced a luxurious Diamond Black finish that replaces previous black options for $1,500 (approximately Rs 1.29 lakh). Furthermore, they feature a new front parking camera that enhances Autopilot and Smart Summon capabilities and comes equipped with adaptive headlights, making them not only stylish but also safer on the road.

The Model S and Model X won’t be making their way to India just yet. However, it’s no secret that Tesla is gearing up to enter the Indian market this year. The American electric vehicle manufacturer has been actively hiring for various positions in India and has secured leases for showrooms in key locations like Delhi and Mumbai. When it comes to which Tesla models might hit the Indian roads first, the Model Y midsize SUV has been spotted undergoing testing several times here, and the homologation process for the Model 3 sedan started a few months back. Despite these developments, it seems that Tesla is not prioritizing the launch of the Model S and Model X for now.
