SUVs may be the decades style but that hasn’t stopped manufacturers from introducing sedans to the market, and this year has seen a number of launches. In actuality, four vehicles all in different price ranges and transitioning to new generation have sparked some timeless conflicts as conventional rivals. Below is mentioned full list of Sedans:

New Honda Amaze

Early in December, the third-generation Honda Amaze was introduced, bringing with it both design and feature upgrades. It has, as anticipated, gotten closer to the Honda City’s design and is the first vehicle in its class to receive level-2 ADAS. Only Honda’s 1.2-liter gasoline engine is available; CNG is an option, but it requires dealer-level installation.

With the introduction of the Seal Sedan earlier this year, BYD entered the premium market. In addition to having all the amenities of the Atto 3, it boasts an amazing output of 308 horsepower and 360 Nm, which is available in both RWD and AWD configurations. Although BYD’s volume models are the Atto 3 and eMAX7, in a sense, this one is a demonstration of its technological prowess and what it can do if you raise the budget into premium stratum.

Toyota Camry

At the end of CY2024, the ninth-generation Toyota Camry made its debut in India. Along with an updated feature list and a new design, it is a hybrid only vehicle, just like cars from previous generations. Nevertheless, Toyota made the decision to go all out in terms of luxury and launched it as a single, fully equipped model that included every features available for Camry line.

New Mercedes Benz E-Class

The new Mercedes E-Class is longer, wider, and more powerful than the car it replaced, making it one half of a highly anticipated race. Along with an enhanced feature list and rear-seat package, it is available with both gasoline and diesel engine options. India is the only RHD market to receive the E-Class in LWB configuration due to its size.

New BMW 5 Series and i5

In terms of generations, the Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series have been running parallel, so when the new E-Class, we knew a new 5 Series had to follow. Like the E-Class, the new generation car is wider, longer, and leans more toward a chauffeur-driven package. It is currently only offered in the 503Li configuration, but by the end of the fiscal year, we anticipate that the 520d and 520i will be available as well.

BMW surprised us by releasing the i5 at the same time as the announcement of the new 5 series. It is only offered in the SWB configuration and is an electric variant of the 5 Series, as the name implies. With its dual motors that generate 600 horsepower and 795 Nm, it only offers the luxury of the 5-Series range, but it also packs a powerful punch.

Mercedes-AMG C63 SE Performance

Earlier this year, the C63 returned to India, albeit in a more contemporary form to stay up to date. In its current configuration, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder motor generates 670 horsepower and 1020 Nm when coupled with an electric motor. It has every toy found in the C-Class lineup, along with track tools and an electric boost inspired by Formula One to help you achieve lap times comparable to those of George Russell.
