Hyundai Gears Up for 2025: Exciting New Cars and SUVs Set to Launch

The Korean brand is ready to make a significant impact in India next year by introducing two electric vehicles (EVs) and a new generation of one of its popular SUVs. In 2024, Hyundai concentrated on enhancing its current lineup, which included notable updates like the facelifted Creta and the new Alcazar. However, 2025 promises an exciting shift with the launch of at least one-complete new model, alongside Hyundai’s highly anticipated first mass-market EV.

Hyundai Creta EV

Mark your calendar for January 17, when Hyundai will unveil the all-electric Creta at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This EV is poised to make a significant impact in the market, taking on competitors like the Maruti e Vitara, Tata Curvv EV, and Mahindra’s BE 6e.

Under the hood, the Creta EV boasts a powerful 45kWh battery pack that is anticipated to deliver an impressive range of about 400km on the MIDC cycle. Its front axle-mounted motor generates an output of 138hp and a robust torque of 255Nm.

In terms of aesthetics, expect a sleek design that echoes its gasoline counterpart but with unique electric touches such as a closed-off grille and new aero optimized alloy wheels. The interior is set to impress as well, sharing features with both the Alcazar facelift and international models like the Kona. Pricing is projected between Rs 25 lakh- 30lakh. An investment that promises great value in performance and style for forward-thinking drivers.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift

Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift

After two and half years since Hyundai launched the Ioniq 5 in India, they are set to introduce an updated version of this electric vehicle. The facelifted Ioniq 5 has already been launched in international markets, showcasing a sportier design inspired by the previous N model. Inside, you’ll find more buttons and an updated steering wheel for improved user experience. This new version also offers a larger 84kWh battery with an impressive WLTP range of 515km, however it remains uncertain if this variant will be available in India. You should prepare yourself for the anticipated arrival of the updated Ioniq 5, expected to be priced around Rs 50 lakh when it hits the market in mid-next year. This investment promises exceptional value for a cutting-edge vehicle that combines luxury and technology. An investment worth considering for those seeking both style and efficiency in their electric vehicle choice.

New Hyundai Venue

The next generation Venue is gearing up to impress the continuation of its three engine options: the efficient 1.2 litre petrol, the powerful 1.0 litre turbo petrol, and the robust 1.5 litre diesel, maintaining the iconic boxy design that fans love from the current model. Recent spy shots reveal exciting updates, including a sleek split headlamp setup reminiscent of the Creta’s styling, complemented by a taller bumper and a wider grille featuring stylish rectangular elements.

Inside, we are anticipating significant enhancements in comfort and features to keep pace with competitors who have raised industry standards considerably. Notably, these spy images also hinted at an advanced ADAS module being integrated into the Venue suggesting that safety will be at the forefront of its design. Other anticipated upgrades include a panoramic sunroof, larger screens for both infotainment and driver displays, along with premium materials and upholstery that elevate its overall feel. Production is scheduled to kick off at Hyundai’s state of the art facility in Talegaon, Maharashtra by late 2025. This timeline points to a launch likely set for early 2026 when pricing details for this upgraded Venue could also be revealed. Given all these enhancements and innovations expected in this new model, it may come at a slightly higher price point but considering what it offers it’s sure to be worth every penny.
