Tata Sierra Redefines Dash Design with Spied Triple-Screen Setup

Tata Motors unveiled a near-production version of the highly anticipated Sierra SUV at the 2025 Auto Expo back in January, showcasing an impressive triple-screen setup. A recent spy image of the Sierra provides an exciting sneak peek at how these screens might appear in the final production model. This latest sighting is particularly significant as we await the launch of the new Sierra, expected later this year. The triple-display configuration includes a multi-information display (MID), a touchscreen, and a dedicated passenger screen. It’s crucial to note that the Tata Sierra EV will debut first, with the internal combustion engine (ICE) variant following shortly after.

Each screen in the Sierra is expected to measure a generous 12.3 inches, making for an impressive floating three-screen setup that includes a digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreens for both the center and passenger side. We’ve already seen a similar arrangement in the Mahindra XEV 9e, showcasing its growing popularity.

Additionally, the Sierra will likely boast a stylish dual-tone dashboard, an eye-catching four-spoke steering wheel inspired by the Harrier EV, with an illuminated Tata logo, and modern ambient lighting. Other anticipated features include a premium Harman sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, and ventilated front seats to enhance comfort.

On the safety front, you can expect nothing less than top-notch protection with 6 airbags, comprehensive 360-degree cameras, electronic stability control (ESC), and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This vehicle aims not only to impress but also to ensure your safety on the road, all while combining style with cutting-edge technology.

The absence of the B-pillar kink and roof rails is a key detail that sets the production version of the Sierra apart from its concept. Our previous report on the patent images showed how these design elements have been modified, aligning with practical considerations for an SUV. While you won’t find those striking features, the alloy wheels have also undergone a redesign, moving away from the star-like pattern seen in the prototype. However, there’s good news: crucial stylistic elements like the wide LED light bar at the front and a split headlamp setup on the bumpers are still present, ensuring that this production model maintains an eye-catching look while embracing functionality.

Sierra Electric is poised to adopt Harrier EV’s all-wheel drive (AWD) system, and this innovation could make a significant impact. Tata has already indicated during an investor presentation that the Sierra EV will hit the market first, followed by the Sierra ICE. While specific launch dates for these Tata SUVs are still uncertain, there’s strong anticipation surrounding them. The Sierra ICE is likely to offer both 1.5-litre turbo petrol and diesel engine options, accompanied by a selection of manual and automatic transmissions. Meanwhile, the Sierra EV could feature a cutting-edge dual motor setup similar to that of the Harrier EV, ensuring superb AWD capabilities. This strategic move not only enhances performance but also positions Tata as a leader in electric vehicle technology.
